You need a 13x9 baking dish greased then slice potatoes then sliced onions then sliced smoked bacon salt and pepper to taste in a separate bowl mix flour milk and cream of celery soup til gravy like thin. Pour over the potatoes and onions then repeat the process till pan is almost full cover with foil and bake an hour or till potatoes are done.

4 Lg. Potatoes. Peeled and Sliced. To speed cooking time. Place in micro safe bowl , little water and cover about 5 minutes. to precook
2 T butter
2 T flour
1 Cup milk
pinch salt & pepper.
In a saucepan melt butter. add flour and blend. Add milk and cook until mixture is thick.
In a greased casserole add 1/2 potatoes(drained) 1/2 sauce and repeat layers.
Bake 375 for 40 minutes. COOKING TIME WILL BE LONGER IF POTATOES ARE RAW.
**Cheese-American, chedder can be added- now will be called au-gratin potatoes
