german type of dumpling recipes?

Had a meal two weeks ago in Heildeburg German and trying to find a recipe for it.. It was sort of an Italian gnocchi in shape.. But had the flavor of pancake and potatoe.. they where fried and then put over saurekraut with a gravey.. Want the recipe very much!!

I am cooking meatloaf and the recipe says cook for 1hour, but I also put some potatoe wedges in the oven, do I?

need to increase the cook time of the meatloaf? I don't know if adding extra items in the oven affects cooking time. I put the potatoes in a separate pan on the rack below the meatloaf.

When using the microwave, if you add extra, you have to also add extra cooking time. That's why I ask. Don't know if it's the same with the oven.

With low potasuim and good for your kidenys and not to difficult and time consuming to make ! So no more then about 5 hours :)

If possible something to go on the side like a good vegtable and recipee for that or some kind of mashed potatoe or pasta side if the main isnt pasta :)

Also a good desert that isnt to difficult it could even be from a box

Or if you have no recipes would unbreaded baked chiken with low soduim mozzerla fresh and fresh suace and some spices make a good chiken parm even without the bread crumb or should i use low soduim bread crumb

a list of low soduim and low potasuim foods anything

Well im making potato dumplings as a side dish for dinner tomorrow, and the recipe said to "rice the potatoes" and im thinking what the crap? lool Ive been cooking real long but ive never heard that.
So what do i do with the potatoes??

Easy recipes cooking for two?

Ok, Im sure this sounds silly....but Ive never cooked for just two before!! Im not the best cook either. I can make simple meat and potatoe and veggies meals, but Id really like to step it up!!!
My husband and I are finally going to be alone this week ( weve always had family living with us)!
I have no idea what to make, and I want it to be special!

How to Make a Yummy Basic Soup?

Okay, this is a basic soup recipe, im only basing this on my memory causse i only made it last night -

VEGES-
1 diced potatoe
2 diced carrots
1 diced red onion (white optional)
1/9 of a pumkin, like a small cake slice
2 cloves of garlic (finely chopped)
pretty basic eh?
SPICES -
you'll find these in spices section in your supermarket.
Masterfoods, cajun, 2-3 (pinches)
Masterfoods, piri piri, 4-5 shakes
Cumin (grounded), 1-2 pinches
paprikika (sweet), 1-2 pinches
Corianda, 1-2 pinches
Salt and Pepper (DUH!)
1 liter of chicken stock (1 carton)

PROCESS -
1. put around 3 tablespoons of oil in a pot, so its covering the surface.
2. Sautay onions for 5mins.
3. Put garlic in and sautay for another 3 mins.
4.Put in order, carrots, potatoes and then pumkin leaving 1-2 mins of sautaying for each.
5. put in stock and simmer for around 45-30mins (Im not to sure about this one, just after 30 mins taste potatoes and if they are cooked then it should be ready)

Well i hope you like it, umm, spices are optional but it gives it a good kick. Also leave comments if ya try it. THX!

Take a good quality pork chop
I asked in another question what a good pork chop recipe was and this one sounded delicious....

ritz crackers crushed add a little garlic powder, season salt, pepper ...dip your chops in beaten eggs..than roll in the ritz cracker mix..put in baking dish with melted butter or marg. and bake at 350 for 45 mins uncovered!! These are to die for..So moist and juicy and the cracker mix is incredible....Serve with potatoe of your choice

My question is, do I just put enough butter to cover the bottom!?
And how big should the chops be?
And should they have a bone!?

Celery
red lentils

onion
carrot

Now i also see things like ginger, coriander, cream, basil, garlic, bay leaves, canned tomaoes, vinegar.
